Mission : The mission of Friends of Hearthside, Inc. is to promote the historical significance of this landmark as well as the cultural heritage of Lincoln and the Great Road Historic District. Our goal is to generate funds for the maintenance and restoration of the house so that it may be enjoyed by present and future generations. This will be accomplished through special events, gift shop sales, house rentals, and other fundraising. In October 2001, the group formally incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization
