About us :  

The entrance to Burlingame State Park picnic area and the Kimball Sanctuary is Prosser Trail, an exit off US Route 1 in Charlestown, RI. This very popular state recreation area offers 50 fireplaces, toilets, drinking water, a swimming beach and a nearby DEM boat launch for boating and fishing. The campground is 3,100 acres of rocky woodland that surrounds Watchaug Pond in Charlestown. The entrance to the park headquarters and camping area is off U.S. Route #1 in Charlestown. This campground may fill on some summer weekends.

Its beautiful here. I got a cabin by the water but we used it for our supplies. Slept in a tent. Used the porch during day for shade. Lovely time.

Always have a great experience with the Burlingame staff, always friendly. Very helpful, we always camp here. close to the beach, lake, camp store and more. Love it here!!

Definitely a more Family and friends campground. Great for the kids. Has an Arcade games and pool table.

Been camping here since I was a kid, so it's more nostalgia than the facilities! Rustic sites, bathrooms are filled with bugs, you pay quarters to shower and something is always broken. But, the pond is beautiful and we always have fun making memories.
