The Blackstone River Bikeway Association (BRBA) is a citizen's advocacy group dedicated to the visability, sustainability and building a region wide constituency for the Blackstone River Bikeway. The Bikeway Association was created through the efforts of a group of Leadership Blackstone Valley participants. During the class they created a vision for supporting the completion of the bikeway, “piece by piece”. Some of the original group continues to lead the effort and have been joined by a number of others. This “bikeway group” has met monthly since the fall of 2006, recently deciding on the name “The Blackstone River Bikeway Association”.
