Why did the Greeks wear masks? Did Romans really kill their actors? What's up with no women on Renaissance stages? When did America get in on the theatre thing? Time travel through theatre history's most significant eras starting in Ancient Greece and ending in Civil War America. Six weeks, six plays, six radically different dramatic styles! A zoom link will be provided by the first day of class.
